Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 12 October 2026
These terms apply to softmargin.online, published by Drastavela Room s.r.o., Jindřicha Plachty 1139/25, Smíchov, 150 00 Praha 5, Czech Republic, company registration number 29598923. Reading the site means accepting them.
1. What this site provides
An informational course of five steps about free-to-play PC games, written for general readers in Australia, together with printable checklists. It is published free of charge, it requires no account, and nothing on it is sold to you.
2. It is not advice, and it is not training
The material is general information. It is not professional advice of any kind — not security advice, not legal advice, not financial or consumer advice tailored to your circumstances — and it does not take account of your situation, your household or your equipment. Where a decision matters to you, check it with the organisation responsible for that subject, or with your own adviser.
The course is also not accredited training. There is nothing to sign up for, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification. Calling it a course describes its shape — five steps in sequence — and nothing more. Nobody records that you read it, and no institution recognises it.
3. Product details change
Anything said here about a specific product comes from what its publisher stated at the time of writing. Games change: system requirements are revised, platforms are added or dropped, stores are restructured and prices move. Before you act on a detail, check it on the vendor's own site, which is the authoritative source. We correct errors that are pointed out to us, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it.
4. Links to other sites
The site links to government bodies, to publishers and, as paid links, to Crossout. Those sites are run by other people. We do not control their content, their availability, their terms or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond its usefulness as a reference. The paid links are explained on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
5. Trade marks and content
All brand names on Soft Margin, Crossout among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Soft Margin, and none has endorsed or sponsored it. The text and layout of this site belong to Drastavela Room s.r.o.; you are welcome to print the checklists for your own use and to quote the course with attribution.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Drastavela Room s.r.o. is not liable for loss arising from reliance on this general information or from the use of any third-party site reached from it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the information again.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, where Drastavela Room s.r.o. is established, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction. That choice does not displace any protection available to you as a consumer under the law of the place where you live, including the Australian Consumer Law and the rights the ACCC describes at accc.gov.au.
8. Changes and contact
These terms may be revised; the effective date above changes when they are, and the current version is always the one on this page. Questions go to info@softmargin.online, or by post to Drastavela Room s.r.o., Jindřicha Plachty 1139/25, Smíchov, 150 00 Praha 5, Czech Republic.
