Cookie Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on later requests, so that the site can recognise the browser over time. Similar technologies — browser storage, tracking pixels, fingerprinting — do comparable work by other means. This page says, item by item, which of them softmargin.online uses.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. Drastavela Room s.r.o. sets no cookie of any kind on this domain — not for preferences, not for sessions, not for consent.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. No third party has any code on these pages, so no third party is in a position to set a cookie through them.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage. This is why the checklists cannot remember which boxes you have ticked.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written for the duration of a tab or a visit.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. No database is created in your browser.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no invisible images, beacons or counters on any page. The only graphics on the site are drawn in the page itself as code.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. We do not read your fonts, screen, hardware, canvas or any other property in order to recognise your browser.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The typefaces are ones already on your computer, and the only script is a few lines of our own, served from this domain. Your browser makes no request to any other server while you read these pages.
- Server access logs
- Used. This is the single entry on the list that is in use, and it is not a cookie. Our hosting provider records each request to the site, as described below.
Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner exists to ask permission for something. On this site there is nothing to ask permission for: no analytics, no advertising, no pixels, no social buttons, no embedded video, no session identifiers. Showing a banner anyway would state something untrue about what this site does, and would waste a click of yours on a question with only one possible answer.
What does happen when you read a page
Your browser requests a file, and our hosting provider writes a line in its access log: the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the URL, the referring page if your browser sent one, and the user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days and are used for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. That is the whole of it. The Privacy Policy describes the same logs in more detail, including who holds them and where they may be stored.
After you follow a paid link
The paid links on this site lead to Crossout, through the affiliate network that operates the link. Once you have followed one, you are on their domains and this policy no longer applies. Those companies may set cookies or use similar technology on their own sites, among other things to record that the visit came from us so that a commission can be attributed. Drastavela Room s.r.o. does not control those cookies, cannot see them and cannot switch them off; their own notices are the place to read about them. The arrangement itself is explained on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Blocking or clearing cookies in any browser
Nothing on this site requires you to do this, but it is worth knowing in general. Every mainstream browser keeps cookie controls in its settings, usually under a heading such as privacy, security or site permissions. From there you can normally block cookies set by third parties, block all cookies, clear what is already stored, and see a list of the sites that have stored something. Browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards cookies and storage when the window is closed. Blocking all cookies does not affect this site, since it sets none, but it will log you out of sites that depend on them.
If this ever changes
If Drastavela Room s.r.o. ever introduces a cookie or any similar technology on this domain, this page will be rewritten to describe it — what it is, who sets it, what it does and how long it lasts — and a working consent mechanism will be in place before the first one is set. The effective date above will change on the same day. We will not list a cookie here that does not exist, and we will not set one that is not listed.
